I have been messing around with the settings all morning and I haven't found a way to do that. No need to create any aliases and stuff like that. Just go into the setting and point connect360 to your external HD. You just need to tell connect360 that your files are there instead then your Imac HD. I have no problem streaming all my media files that are stored on my 1TB External USB Drive.
